Train Services
Although taxis and other private transportation are available at Miami International Airport, many travelers to the Greater Miami area choose to use public transportation to reach local destinations. Before boarding public transportation, be sure to verify hours of service for each route. Please call 305-770-3131, weekdays 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; weekends, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.The Tri-Rail a tri-county commuter train, serves Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. The airport station is just east of the airport, across LeJeune Road on NW 21st Street.

In addition to Tri-Rail, Metro-Rail is a fixed-rail system which provides transportation to areas throughout Dade County. Metro-Mover is another fixed-rail system which provides transportation to popular locations in the Downtown Miami and Brickell areas. Metrorail runs from 5:08 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. Trains arrive every six minutes during weekday rush hours, every 15 minutes at midday, and every 30 minutes after 8 p.m. Weekend service runs every 20 minutes until 8 p.m. when trains arrive every 30 minutes.
Shuttle connections to Metro-Rail and to the Tri-Rail station are available from the Concourse E Bus Station on the ground level, directly across from U.S. Customs.

Bus Services
Only Greyhound, a private company, provides direct service from Miami to the Keys. There is no direct public transit service to the Keys.
